A semi-dry red Muscadine table wine, blended to have strong characteristics of Southern grapes. This is a traditional red wine, complementary to our Demopolis Ecor Blanc white wine.

The label is for Marengo County, AL and the original settlement of exiled French Bonapartists who established Demopolis, AL after the French Revolution in 1814. The Demopolis settlement became known as the “Vine and Olive Colony” in Alabama. Marengo was a victorious battlefield for Napoleon, and it was also the name of his horse. Enjoy the legend and the wine, complementary with BBQ.
